Is it possible to join the R5 region?

Hi all,

I live in North Staffordshire and I am a member of the R9 region, however most of the events are south of Birmingham for me and I really have no desire to drive for 2+ hours each way to get to an event.

R5 have events geographically much closer to me, I saw late last year you were literally having a meet at a local pub but only saw this after the event.

As such I feel like I am missing out on a lot of events which I could attend and want to attend but because of a postcode I have no visibility.

Is there a way to join R5, or at least get emails/notifications of meets for the region?

Thanks

That's quite easy. We're in between about 3 Regions so use this facility. If you go to My Profile (or My Dashboard) you'll see My Regions. You can add more Regions, without changing your "home" region. So just add R5 and you should get their emails etc. They have various FB and WhatsApp Groups that you have to join separately. See https://www.porscheclubgb.com/regions-registers/regions/north-west/north-west.
You may decide sometime that you want to change your "home" region. You can do this by contacting the Membership Manager (membership@porscheclubgb.com) and asking them to make the change. If you do that, you might need to swap your change your additional regions too, so (perhaps) your old home region becomes an additional one. Enjoy the Club!
