Not for the first time, and given its past popularity not for the last, so make sure you keep a spare slot in your diary for the 8th June. We’re back for R19’s second time at Middlewick House in Wiltshire. Well known car afficionado, Nick Mason (you know, that nice chap perched amid Pink Floyd’s drum kit all those years) and his equally car-mad wife, Annette, will kindly hold an open-garden event in aid of charity.

Nick’s stunning and rather esoteric collection of cars will be on display throughout the rather lovely grounds of Middlewick House with, of course, pride of place given to his now famous (and none too cheap) Ferrari 250 GTO.

Outside of Nick’s collection, there’s the added benefit of some fine machinery that guests have brought along for the day, too. So, come along to Middlewick:  soak up the atmosphere, eat, drink, tyre-kick, reminisce, meet old and new friends and listen to some great live music, too. Part car show, part garden fete, it’s one of the standout events in R19’s calendar, particularly if we’re blessed, as in 2024, with dry weather.

We’ll aim to be there from 11.00 and then start drifting off by 4-ish. So, you’ll have ample time to check out the cars, meander through the stalls, quaff a drink or two and play ‘Spot the Drummer’ as Nick is wont to mingle with his appreciative guests.

We’ll arrange a meeting-point beforehand so we can all arrive and be parked together as one big happy R19 family.

Please be sure to book your place, the cost is £12 per person. We should have ample space, but we’ll need to close bookings in a couple of weeks to allow time to get the tickets and distribute them.
