We have the opportunity to visit the workshop of Electric Classic Cars™ in the Welsh town of Newtown Powys.

Electric Classic Cars™ are leading experts in electric conversions of classic cars from the ‘50s to early ‘80s.

They are enormously proud of their portfolio of iconic classic conversions, full restorations and dream builds, their knowledge and experience has built up over the last twenty years in this new and exciting market. Their claim of converting the largest number of classic cars to electric in the world, they have developed numerous bolt-in kits for many popular cars, including: Land Rover Defender; Classic Mini; Porsche 914; Porsche 911; Fiat 500; Ferrari Testarossa; VW Beetle and VW Camper.

The itinerary for the 5^th of June is as follows

8.30am to 9.30am Meet at Porsche Centre Wolverhampton for a bump charge. The centre has kindly offered to supply coffee, croissants and give you the opportunity to order your next car.

9.30am Leave OPC Wolverhampton and drive 65 miles to Electric Classic Cars™

11.00am Arrive at Electric Classic Cars™ for a tour of their facility and again give you chance to place your order to convert your classic to electric.

 1.00pm Leave Electric Classic Cars™ and head to a local pub for some lunch. Leaving for home at your convenience.

 

Depending on your start location, you are welcome to head directly to Electric Classic Cars™ and meet us there and of course placing orders for cars is optional.

We are restricted to a maximum of 20 visitors at Electric Classic Cars™, so please secure your place early, as these are always popular events and only please book if you are able to commit. We don't want to deny other members the opportunity to attend. 

Attenance is free, however lunch is payable on the day.
