RS SPYDER RECALL
Porsche have recalled certain RS Spyder models for a fault with the centre locking wheel nut. Not all models are affected, so it may be worth a call to your dealership for confirmation.

Q: I’m renovating a year 2000 Boxster and want to tidy up the grey painted trim on the dashboard and transmission tunnel. The relevant paint code is G1. None of the refinishing suppliers I have approached recognise or supply this colour. Can you suggest a name and/or source please?
A: I have checked on your VIN code and there are three options for the centre console - Granite Grey, Metal Grey and Black. Your car has option M012, which is Metal Grey. I don’t think there is a paint code for it, plus I think it’s a textured finish. You could paint it the same as the outer colour or Arctic Silver perhaps? A new centre console is £371 plus vat. The code for Arctic Silver is L92U.
