What a glorious day for a run….. A run in a Porsche that is….. The 992 Registers latest jaunt was around the Warwickshire countryside in beautiful sunshine.
24 of us in 14 very colourful 992’s met at Gilks Garage Cafe in Kineton for pre ordered breakfast, the introductions and conversations got off to a great start which continued throughout the day. Part one of the route was aiming for The Barn at Berryfields, near Meriden where a stop for Coffee and Teas was supplemented with very tasty pastries and cakes.
Reluctantly everyone left for a route around the North Warwickshire lanes then passing through Knowle and Packwood House on the way to the final destination of The Piston Club near Stratford upon Avon. Again everyone swapped stories of just how many different routes there were from A to B…….
Many thanks to Jeremy and Bridgette for arranging the route and food stops and to everyone who attended. We hope that you all enjoyed a days driving some stunning cars and look forward to the next one.
