The 992 Register have been invited to display their cars at a Supercar Sunday event being held at the AVRO Museum Woodford.

In addition to viewing the car displays, members can access 5 cockpits with a guide (Vulcan, Lancaster, VC10, Typhoon Flight Sim & Nimrod) last three are weather dependant due to their location. Typhoon Flight sim - a new addition that replicates flights from Coningsby via the mach loop fast jet low level training though Wales, again this is weather dependant. NB: All these cockpits are to be pre booked at reception, £2 per cockpit (£3 for Nimrod & £10 for the Typhoon flight sim)
 
Indoor history of AV Roe from the very beginning using video, models etc to enlighten the visitor. A cinema is set up in the Lancaster conference room with a variety of films running all day. Plus MS Flight Sim with a variety of aircraft and a functioning AVRO Triplane replica built at Woodford.
 
Cafe (tea/coffee, cold refreshments plus views of the Vulcan (the only one preserved in the original anti flash white paint scheme) plus films running on a loop.
 
The discounted entrance charge is just £3 per car to include museum admission, but additional donations will always be welcome!
