REGISTRATION IS NOW OPEN
We have worked closely with Scenic Car Tours to develop a bespoke seven-day driving tour of the Swiss Alps exclusively for the PCGB 997 Register from Sunday 26 September to Saturday 2 October 2027.
The tour and hotel bookings etc will be managed by Scenic Car Tours Ltd and will be limited to 30 cars.
SCENIC CAR TOURS FLYER
Planned Schedule:
Day 1 – Sunday 26 September – Propose 10am Eurostar to Calais (flexible ticket so free to travel when you want); three hours/270km drive to Reims; visit to historic F1 grandstand; Stay one night at Reims Novotel including Welcome Gala meal.
Day 2 – Monday – Drive from Reims to Interlaken; seven hours/575km; leave 9am-ish, three hours drive am, stop for lunch (own choice, own cost), four hours to hotel. Stay at Carlton Europe Hotel for four nights with Group meal on first night.
Day 3 – Tuesday – Alps Driving Day One – Proposed route: Grimsell, Furka, Susten (four hours/200km).
Day 4 – Wednesday – Alps Driving Day Two (or optional Lake Boat Tour - extra cost - need 15 passengers to proceed – see below).
Day 5 – Thursday – Alps Driving Day Three – Proposed route: Grimsel, Furka, Gotthard, Nuffenen (five hours/250km)
Day 6 – Friday – Start journey home – relaxed drive to Gerardmer; four hours/300km; free afternoon for local driving; Stay at Le Grand Hotel & Spa with End of Tour four-course Gala meal.
Day 7 – Saturday 2 October – Drive back to Calais; six hours/600km; leave 9am-ish, three hours' drive, stop for lunch (own choice, own cost), three hours to Calais; 6pm Eurostar back to Blightly (flexible ticket so free to travel when you want).
Optional stay in UK hotel near to Eurostar on Day 0 – Saturday night and Day Seven – Saturday night (we can probably co-ordinate which hotel we stay at but then book yourself at own additional cost)
Logistics
Full administration and bookings will be managed by Scenic Car Tours and will include:
- One road book, per car, which will feature details and maps and attractions your trip.
- One rally plaque, per car –tailored to 997 PCGB Alps tour
- NEW - Digital tour guide, TourBoss (minimum of 15 cars needed)
- Car parking included at each hotel
- 24-hour out of hours helpline whilst on the tour
- Full financial protection via ABTOT – we are ABTOT registered number 5405 – see HERE
Cost:
From £1,674* per person (based on two people sharing same car and same hotel double/twin room)
From £2,349* per person (based on single person in one car and own hotel room (double room for single use)
**If you use the online registration page, enter PCGB50 in membership number section to get the £50 discount but you then need to email sctadmin@sceniccartours.com with your PCGB membership number. If the discount code doesn’t work, don’t worry as it’ll be sorted out when pay final balance**

- If you have travelled with SCT before and they have all your info with no recent changes, email them quoting ALPS997 along with room preference and if you are interested in Lake Cruise.
