Following the success of the event at Shuttleworth Collection and Garden near Biggleswade, Bedfordshire last April (2025) we have decided to return this year.
On Saturday 30 May we will be visiting the Shuttleworth collection for their Wings & Wheels Air Show. Tickets are £30 per person. This gives you access to a reserved parking area, entry to the air show, the museum collection, gardens and the house.

As well as everything that the venue has to offer, the event also gives you the opportunity to meet and bond with fellow 928 owners and other transaxle enthusiasts.
The Air Show highlights all aspects of the unique collection at Shuttleworth, from airworthy vintage aircraft to veteran vehicles, bicycles, carriages, and heritage machinery.
928s at Shuttleworth – April 2025
You’ll be able to explore the new arena area, which will include a racing simulator, "show and shine" display section, activity arena with live performances and a central Shuttleworth Marquee showcasing a range of core Shuttleworth vehicles. Then, look to the skies and enjoy a thrilling air display from both Collection and visiting aircraft.
They’ll be a host of free attractions from educational Discovery Zones to fun fair rides and more. Explore Shuttleworth House, the former home of the Collection founder, Richard Shuttleworth – arriving by vintage bus, of course – and pick up delicious food and drink to keep those wheels turning during your visit.
**Please note that all aircraft and vehicle appearances are subject to weather and serviceability**
Walking through the six huge hangars, at Shuttleworth
The private collection was begun by Richard Shuttleworth. Pilot, racing driver, self-taught mechanic and heir to the estate, he rescued old aircraft and vehicles, bringing them back to the estate to restore. After his death in 1940, flying for the RAF, his mother Dorothy continued adding to the collection.
Walking through the six huge hangars, at Shuttleworth, you’ll see how aviation design developed from Edwardian times up to the 1950’s. Don’t miss the 1909 Bleriot XI, which, along with all of their aircraft, is still airworthy. It’s the world’s oldest flying aeroplane.
From early 20th century aircraft, cars, buses and motorbikes to steam engines and farm machinery, it’s all there for you to discover. You may also visit the workshop to watch them restoring more treasures.
