I thought you might be interested in a brief report of the trip my wife and I have just made to Northern Ireland in our 924S.
We drove from our home near Marlow to Holyhead (about five hours drive but with terrible traffic around Birmingham - the M42 was awful) and stayed the night at the Premier Inn which is conveniently located less than 10 minutes drive from Holyhead ferry port.
