So, here’s my 1986 924S story, now back on the road after I acquired it a year ago as a non-runner - it had been previously SORN-ed for 14 years. I hoped it would be an easy fix and back on the road quickly - usual brakes were seized and pipes corroded through - but on further investigation, the non-starting engine had seized piston rings and damaged bores.
