On Saturday 25 April the 928 Register has organised a transaxle visit to Belvoir Castle which is just off the A1 near Grantham, Lincolnshire.
Tickets are £29.50 per person. This includes a guided tour of the Castle, entry to the gardens and castle parking plus a hot drink on arrival (approximately 11am). For lunch you have the option of dining in the Aviary Tea Room.
As well as everything that the venue has to offer, the event also gives you the opportunity to meet and bond with fellow transaxle enthusiasts.
Belvoir Castle is one of the UK's finest Regency castles. The ancestral home of the Duke of Rutland. It sits on a hill overlooking the vale of Belvoir granting spectacular views and reflecting the name ‘Belvoir’ which means ‘beautiful view’ in French.
On clear days you can enjoy views across Nottinghamshire, Leicestershire and Lincolnshire and even spot Lincoln Cathedral which is 30 miles away. The castle has had an eventful past including war, fire and family disagreements but remains a spectacular attraction.

You will be given a guided tour of this stunning castle and be able to explore the beautiful formal gardens. Wander around the relaxing and tranquil Japanese Woodland and Hermit’s Garden and enjoy excellent colour displays and beautiful scents in the Duchess Garden and Rose Garden. The castle may seem familiar as it featured in The Da Vinci Code and Young Victoria.
The historic castle grounds also boasts a retail village that offers a distinctive shopping experience. Discover the carefully curated selection of boutique shops, artisan food producers, and local crafts people.
Numbers are limited so you are recommended to book well in advance. If you attend on the day as a member of the public the cost will be higher and you will be parking in the public car park.
