19 MAY PORSCHE CLUB AT HAREWOOD HILL
Long standing member Rowena Purdy was one of the attendees at our Harewood Hill event, and took the opportunity to drive the hill with her 912 called Poppy. Here is her report of the day.

For a change, I decided to have a go at a hill climb and paid my dues for the Club’s social event at the Harewood Hillclimb track near Leeds. In no way is Poppy built for speed events, with a steel sump shield protecting her engine, two heavy auxiliary spot lamps bolted to her front, a full set of rally navigational equipment attached to the dash board and a set of wide wheels fitted with gravel tyres for off road sections.
