911SC DOOR HANDLE TRIGGER REPLACEMENT
Richard Stephens, 911SC Register Technical Advisor reports.

A common issue on a Classic 911 is the door trigger breaking without the owner noticing it, especially on the passenger side where it’s not used so much. Corrosion is often the cause. You should be able to check to see if they are broken by pressing the trigger and using a torch. Look for the eye holes on the trigger supporting the rod which the trigger rotates around.
