Montgomery Run and lunch 9th May
A beautiful day was awarded to 26 members who attended our luncheon and drive to the Dragon hotel Montgomery. Some members travelled to Montgomery the previous day, where some 6 cars travelled in a convoy from Merthyr Tydfil via Llandrindod Wells..
Some local members from the Montgomery area joined, it was a change for them not having to travel a distance to a function.
It was good do see local member Phil Sewell with his immaculate red 356 present.

New members Neil and Janet Greening and Andrew Staniforth were welcomed to their first event.
I was pleased with the event and thanks to club members who travelled considerable distance to the event, even some from Pembrock area

Prior to the lunch, we had an arranged visit to the Cloveland Motor museum.
This was just a short stroll from the hotel. The Cloverlands model car museum contained a fascinating mix of model cars covering all decades ranging from early “horseless” carriages through to today’s sleek, modern cars. Taking central position is a special collection of hand crafted 1:4 scale ( 1/4 sized ) replica car models created for local sisters Gillian and Valerie Rogers.
