July is almost over and I hope you enjoyed the events that were held during this period.

Concours event

Eleven cars entered this years event, which was again sponsored by Porsche Centre Cardiff and the new management from Motorvation body repairs Bridgend. A huge thank you to them for their sponsorship.

It was a rather disappointing with the number of entrants, and we must look at the format of this event if scheduled for next year.

The standards were very good, apart from my own car which came last 😂

I would like to thank the judges,  again this year Mr Steve Cooke and Mr James Walker

The winners were

1st Prize Original Mr Neal Meady
2nd Prize Original Mr Mark Thomas
3rd  Prize original Mr Elved Hughes

1st prize Visitor Mr Stephen Oldfield from Bristol.

Pembrokeshire Coast tour and lunch

This was a good turnout with over 40 people attending . Luckily, the weather turned out fine after leaving Cardiff on a wet morning.

The drive took us to Broadhaven and up the coast to St Davids where a convoy of 21 cars drove underneath the archway.

One of our members going beneath the archway at St Davids.

A big thanks to  club member Daniel Valla for arranging the visit.
