More than 20 cars turned out for the SCS event on the 17th August. Starting at SCS Porsche Honiton for coffee, bacon butties and a tour of the facilities, the members were then given a scenic drive/observation test to the mystery lunch stop....
...which turned out to be the Salty Monk at Sidford.
Many thanks to Andy Moss and team for the hospitality at their place and for planning the drive and also to Annette and Andy at the Salty Monk for laying on a splendid lunch.
Congrats to Fran and Nigel Luke for winning the observation test, although we are somewhat sceptical that a flying carpet can be deemed a 'mode of transport'!
As all of this was gratis we held a collection for the Childrens Hospice charity which raised a superb £315 - thank you all.
