Gliding event

On a somewhat dull, overcast evening around 40 members congregated at North Hill airfield, home to the Devon and Somerset Gliding Club.

  Half of them enjoyed around 10 minutes gliding experience before returning to the ground for the sumptuous BBQ prepared by Keith Young and Nigel Davies. 

Andy Moss took charge of barman duties. 

Low cloud and drizzle (typical after all the fine weather!) brought a premature close to the flying but there was a great buzz around the place and certainly this is an event we are likely to revisit in the future
