Here’s a once in a lifetime chance to visit a car manufacturing plant in the UK. We are off on a mini-adventure to the MINI Plant where ‘state of the art’ car production meets Oxfordshire. With an output of up to 800 lovely Minis per day chances are, if you have one, it was made here.
It's the largest and oldest of BMW’s UK production plants with a pre-BMW history stretching back over 110 years. Steel panels from Plant Swindon (itself established in 1955 by the Pressed Steel Company), engines from BMW’s Hams Hall plant and componentry from all over the world come together in a happy marriage to produce its famous Mini offspring.
