On a lovely warm Saturday, eighteen of us went to the gardens, near Goodwood. Lots of walking was done!
We met at Devil's Punchbowl, Hindhead, for the run to the museum at Singleton. There are many buildings that are several centuries old, all immaculately presented. The Gridshell Building, used as a massive workshop is architecturally very rare.
Fourteen of us met at Jaguar's Castle Bromwich factory. We split into two groups of seven and allocated our tour guide. We saw the F-Type production line where seven robots are used to build the body - the floorpan being assembled into three sections which are then glued and riveted. We also saw the aluminium pressing plant. Photos inside were not allowed.
Twenty Two of us visited the Highways Agency centre at Godstone and were well looked after (by Madeleine in the centre, and Pal and Kevin in the patrol car). We could monitor a live breakdown in the outside lane. We then went to Godstone Vineyard for a snack.
Saturday's qualifying saw some lovely sunny weather. Sunday's main raceday was mainly a mixture of rain and damp conditions. The view from Tabac was amazing.
On a bitterly cold day a group of us went to Spedeworth Motorsports stock car racing at Aldershot Raceway. We had 17 races, the final being a destruction derby.
Our 2018 Weekend Of The Year was to The Metropole Hotel in Llandrindod Wells, Wales. On the way we stopped at Morgan cars, Malvern. On the Saturday, many of us visited Powys Castle.
On a damp Saturday morning about two dozen members set out for ‘The Fox Goes Free’ pub at Charlton, near Goodwood, where we were greeted with a hot drink and shiny bacon butties (I know they’re called Brioche) by which time it had stopped raining. Suitably refreshed, we then formed a convoy and snaked our way to the shooting ground near Petworth

Sixteen of us met at The Surrey Cricketers in Windlesham to enjoy the company of friends, enjoy a pub meal and to partake in the ancient sport of skittles, not to be confused with ten pin bowling and its attendant noise, special shoes and technological wizardry!

50 of us crammed ourselves into our normal meeting room at Silvermere Inn On The Lake for our usual feast.

We had a pub lunch at The Fox Goes Free, Charlton Village, and then made our way to the old control tower at Goodwood.
It was great weather for this year's regular outing to Capel's Classic car Show (in aid of their historic church)

We assembled at the castle and were unexpectedly asked if we'd like to park on the lawn. This is one of England's impressive castles.

On a bright day but with a cool breeze, we saw a great display of old planes and visited the house.
32 of us spent two glorious days in Stratford-upon-Avon. The hotel was great, the weather was great and we enjoyed a short river cruise amongst other activities.
Eleven of us shot either 25 or 50 clays at The Big Shoot at Bisley Camp, Woking. We then had a pub lunch at The Cricketers, Horsell Birch.
Nine of us tried electric karts at the indoor circuit of Teamsport Farnborough.
Some of us had an eventful drive. Others visited the Milestones Museum. We then lunched at Mill House, Odiham in their very old barn.
We had a pub meal followed by four rounds of skittles, with prizes for best female, best male, best team plus a boobie prize.
