If you fancy spending some time with a lady who pops to the shops in a Koenigsegg Regera and her husband, whose car and memorabilia collection defies superlatives, then you’re lucky: ‘cos we’re all off to The Phyllis Tuckwell Motor Show on Sunday 2nd August from 9am.
Our two superb hosts, Tanya and Robert Lewis, are generous (and possibly dotty enough) to open up their extensive grounds and invite hundreds of fellow car lovers from a range of car clubs - not least of which is PCGB’s Thames Valley Region to add that touch of class: obvs’ to ‘not least of which is PCGB’s Surrey and Thames Valley Regions to add that touch of class: obvs.
It’s a car-spotters dream. You’ll get to drool over some quite stunning machinery, with loads to do, eat, drink and sit on. It’s a full day of full-on autophilia - with the icing on the cake that all proceeds go to the Phyllis Tuckwell Hospice in Farnham.
This is a joint event between Surrey Region (R29) and Thames Valley Region (R19). Tickets are a mere snip at £25.00 per car, considerably better value and immeasurably more enjoyable than a dreary theme park near you. Squeeze the family into a Cayenne and on the roof-rack and you’ve got a bargain day-out.
Book early to avoid certain disappointment.
