It was stormy skies that greeted the Porsche Club GB London members for our annual drive to nowhere.
Leaving our secret just off the M25 start location that looked very much like a Sainsbury's car park but obviously wasn't, we set off for some spirited exercise through the Ashdown Forest, 'invading' along the way as you would expect.
One of our favourite evening routes with a stop at one of our favourite supper spots, ‘The Crown’ at Groombridge, we will be back.
A shout-out to Eze from the FA Cup winning Crystal Palace [and a car nut] who crashed our secret start location wondering why a bunch of Porsches had crashed his local Sainsbury's. One of those surreal moments that happens to us sometimes.
Next up in London, our Porsche only meet at the iconic Ace Café on Bank Holiday Monday, 26th May, from 6pm.
See you out on the road – Nick & Ed
