You're invited to display your Porsche at the Porsches in the Park event which is being held at historic Garth Park, Bicester. Set in nine acres of parkland and formal gardens (see map), Garth House is a former hunting lodge built in the early 19th Century and is the ideal backdrop for what promises to be a superb day out for Porsche enthusiasts, their partners, and families.
All Club members are invited to 'the Garth' and park up within the designated display area in the grounds of this historic house. All ages and models of Porsche are welcome. The event, now in its fourth year, is set to provide a great opportunity to display your car and to meet up and socialise with fellow Club members. Over 90 members from all over the country attended last year.
The day's programme starts at 11:00 hrs and will feature (we hope):
- Detailing workshops and demonstrations
- Minor mobile repair workshops and demonstrations
- Music from a selection of bands and musicians
- Children's play area and café
- Picnic area
Members, their partners and families from all Regions are welcome, as are other non-member Porsche owners. Dogs are welcome to bring their well-behaved owners who must be kept on leads whilst in the Park. Food and drinks will be available from the BBQ stall and from the café (priced according to the caterer's menu), but you're welcome to bring a picnic or your own food and drinks if you prefer. Either way, you don't need to book... just turn up.
Entry is free but we hope you might like to make a donation (a fiver per car would be brilliant) to our nominated charity, Cancer Research, on the day.
