The Region is pleased to invite members to join a driving tour in Wales that will take in some stunning scenery and brilliant driving roads. Once again this tour is being organised by Paul Da Costa who has put together some brilliant tours for the last three years.
This year we return again to the popular Cammarch Hotel in Lllangammarch Wells (01591 620545) which offers safe parking, comfortable well appointed rooms, restaurant and bar. Nestled on the borders of the Brecon Beacon national park this area lends itself to stunning scenery and great driving roads. Anyone who has been before will know what a fun weekend with other like minded members this is.
The itinerary will be to meet up on Saturday morning near Gloucester and drive via the Forest of Dean into the Black Mountains including comfort stops and lunch, then to the hotel where your cars will be safely parked and drinking and eating can commence!
The next day will be a further drive in the Brecons and the run to finish about mid-afternoon in the area to give everyone time to make their way home.
Paul has reserved 8 rooms all with en-suite (although 2 of those rooms are suites and do have an extra bedroom if some one wants share a bathroom which makes it cheaper). The price is £95 per room and a four-poster room is £110. These rates include breakfast.
If you're interested in joining in just let Paul know by calling him on 07890 578720, and then contact the hotel on 01591 620545 to pay £50 to reserve your room.
Please bear in mind that these weekend tours are always well supported and places go fast.
