Bill and Donah Dewer have stepped down from the Regional Organiser role and we offer our grateful thanks for their contribution over recent years.
Ashley, Phil and Terry, with encouragement and help from Siobhan at the Clubhouse, have taken on running R21 and are looking for others to join the committee and help with the organisation of Club nights and events. If you can help, please email r21@porscheclubgb.com.
R21 members enjoyed a visit to Max Protect Ltd in Kings Langley on 21 September. They supply all kinds of PPF, wrapping, paint correction and ceramic coatings. Max Protect owner Janis Krigens and his team laid on a fantastic spread for breakfast and made us very welcome. We watched an interesting demonstration of windscreen wrapping on a new Cayman GT4 RS. The installation process takes a few minutes and was made to look simple by Janis and his team! Windscreen protection costs between £200 and £300 depending on whether it has been installed as part of a package. Well worth doing in my opinion. Janis also inspected several members’ cars and recommended solutions. An invitation for a return visit next spring has been gratefully accepted.
