2019 21 - 23 June

R21 WOTY June 21st-23rd 2019

R21 WOTY to Lincoln 21st – 23rd June
This year’s Weekend of the Year (WOTY) will be based in Lincoln taking advantage of the RAF Heritage in the area. We will be staying at the Branston Hall Hotel which is located 4 miles from the centre of Lincoln. The hotel offers comfortable accommodation, with an indoor pool and fitness suite, and is set in very pleasant semi rural grounds.

The plan, which may be subject to change, is:

To meet in the afternoon at the Battle of Britain Flight Centre at RAF Coningsby for a guided tour.
Continue to the Branston Hall Hotel to check in before meeting in the bar for pre-dinner drinks, dinner etc.

Photo opportunity for the cars at the rear of the hotel.
Leisurely drive to the Petwood Hotel at Woodhall Spa for coffee. Petwood served as a hospital in WW1 but is much better known as the home of the officers of 617 Squadron - The Dambusters.

After coffee, a drive on some of Lincolnshire’s most interesting roads, including the Lincolnshire Wolds, will take us to the International Bomber Command Centre where a light lunch and a guided tour will be arranged.

A free day to explore Lincoln, which boasts a fine castle and cathedral and many other sights of interest.
The cost of accommodation is £169 per night for a double room to include dinner, bed and breakfast. Single occupancy is £126 per night. There is the option of staying for Friday and Saturday nights or Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Past experience suggests most people prefer to stay for all 3 nights.

Bookings, which will require a £50 deposit, should be made directly with the hotel on 01522 793305 quoting Porsche Club Weekend. When you have booked please drop me an email to so that I can keep track of who is attending.

Accommodation is limited so early booking is recommended.

If you have any questions just email or call.
