The New Year for Scotland North often has a slow start, mainly because of unpredictable weather and the fact that most members have got their Porches tucked up in their garages.
Our traditional start is normally a winter walk followed by lunch on the first weekend of the year. This year, most of the Region was covered by a thick blanket of snow, with roads closed, cars abandoned and power cuts in places.
