21 JUNE EAST-TO-WEST, COAST-TO-COAST
In perfect weather, R2’s celebration of the summer solstice took us from Montrose in the east to Oban in the west of Scotland. Fifty members in 28 cars travelled more-or-less in convoy, with stops at Loch Earn for lunch and Conon Bridge for photographs. Staying at the Premier Inn in the centre of Oban, we had pre-ordered dinner at The Olive Garden restaurant on the seafront.
