For the last breakfast meet of the winter we are mixing things up again by holding this on SATURDAY 28 March.
This time we will be heading north of Aberdeen to Delgatie Castle, Delgatie, Turriff, AB53 5TD for a delicious private breakfast in their beautiful period dining room at 10:00am. Self-guided tours of the castle will be available after breakfast for £5 pp, no booking necessary.
The castle dates from 1030AD and has been in the current ownership for 650 years. Amongst the famous guests are Mary Queen of Scots who stayed there for three days in 1562. Tours of the castle are available at additional cost and the tearoom was awarded winner of Tearoom of the Year in the Scottish Cafe & Bakery Awards 2025.
A map of the location can be found HERE. There will be an optional group drive starting from Craibstone park & ride leaving at 9:00am. We will take the AWPR north to the A947 junction, signed to Oldmeldrum and follow that through Turriff, turning right after Morrison Motors, look for the brown tourist sign. The castle is about 1.5 miles along that road. Parking at the front of the castle is limited but there is more to the rear.
Please book for this event so we can advise the castle of numbers. Please also choose what you'd like to eat from the menu below and submit the FOOD QUESTIONNAIRE.
