Do you miss the “real" Top Gear?

Well, we can't meet Jeremy, Richard and James, but we can invite you to visit the largest collection of vehicles featured over 29 series of BBC's Top Gear programme,  including the indestructible Toyota Hilux, James May’s Triumph Herald Sailboat and the Hammerhead Eagle i-Thrust, affectionally known as Geoff.

The Grampian Transport Museum (GTM) in Alford has secured these and many other vehicles from the iconic TV series.  They are currently placing them in a new exhibition for their opening later in March.  We have arranged a discounted PCGB visit to GTM, Montgarrie Rd, Alford AB33 8AE, on Sunday 8th June at 10:30am.

We will meet at 9:45am at the Kingwells park & ride and take the Porsche road (A944) to Alfford, park up on their circuit for photos (sorry, no Mr Wilman Top Gear Challenges, or racing!), then have a tour of their new exhibition and the rest of their displays and finish up around 12:00pm with a simple soup & sandwich in their café.
