A crisp, bright winter morning at Farnborough International provided the perfect setting for a memorable celebration with the Porsche community, as Club members and guests came together for A Porsche Christmas.
From the earliest examples of the marque to its most modern sports cars, the display offered something for every enthusiast. An early 356 and a beautifully presented 986 Boxster showcased Porsche’s timeless appeal, while an ultra-rare Carrera GT and the remarkable 918 Spyder represented the pinnacle of performance and engineering. The variety on show reflected not only the breadth of Porsche’s history, but also the passion of the people who preserve and enjoy these cars.
Away from the metal, the festive atmosphere continued with a range of activities for all ages including a Christmas colouring board on the back of the Club’s Type 2 VW pick-up, while Santa, his elves and a host of roving entertainers ensured plenty of seasonal cheer throughout the day.
Importantly, the event also supported a vital cause. Thanks to a hugely successful charity raffle, more than £2,000 was raised for the Air Ambulances UK. Our sincere thanks go to Bomberg, RPM Technik, Design911, Little Concepts and The Man Cave for their generously donating prizes.
