Race One
Ed Hayes had his Cayman S on pole for the opening Porsche Club Motorsport Championship with Pirelli race of the day and led the field away, Jake McAleer slotting his 997 into second ahead of Father Mark McAleer, with Chris Dyer initially fourth but losing out to Simon Clarks’ 997 before the end of the opening lap. Hayes was under pressure from Jake McAleer, the pair briefly swapping places on lap three but Hayes held on, only to have a brake issue the next lap that saw him go straight on at Oggies and hand Jake McAleer the lead.
Over the remaining laps Jake McAleer eased away, as Mark McAleer held off Clark who was challenging hard for second, the race stopped early with a car stopped in a dangerous position just after Cark had passed Mark McAleer, the result swapped back as results were taken a lap earlier. The win was enough to see Jake McAleer take the title with a race to go, Father Mark claiming second, Clark in third.
“I was ten years old when my dad started racing in this series, I’m over the moon to actually win it,” said Jake McAleer. “It’s been a great season and the main reason is Dave from Car Tech and Care who has built us two amazing 997s and all the support we get from Hartech. It is just how I wanted to win it, I maybe got carried away early on battling with Ed and by the end it was just about bringing the car home.”
“It was great fun racing with Simon, I was working hard to keep him behind me,” said Mark McAleer. “So brilliant to see Jake take the title, and what a way to win it!”
“Jake drove really well this season and some of his drives have been quite something,” said Clark. “We’ve had some misfortune this year, but we have also had a good run of luck over the last few years and It’s been a great season.”
The Porsche Club Motorsport AM Championship with Pirelli field lined up with Ollie Chatham on pole and the championship contenders close behind him on the grid. Points leader Andrew Porter was only fifth after transmission problems plagued him in qualifying and would do so in the race as well.
Chatham led all the way to take his fourth win of the season, while reigning champion Darren Labbett came home second. Behind, Wayne Gregory just led home title rival Shiraz Khan, while Porter kept his hopes alive by coming home in fifth.
“I had to push hard, the guys behind are so quick and I had to keep the pace up to stay clear,” said Chatham. “I was up with some of the class one cars, and they were battling which was slowing us down and I could see everyone getting closer in my mirror. I made a poor start and had to get back on the opening lap, but a good win.”
“I had some wheelspin at the start,” explained Labbett, “which lost me a couple of places. I got back to second but by then the gap to Ollie was just too big for me to get close to him, so I decided to make sure I came home second, I was watching the guys behind me all the way.”
Race Two
Hayes was on pole again for the final race of the season and champion Jake McAleer was still keen to race and the two front row cars headed down the first corner side-by-side, Hayes just claiming the lead on the exit of the corner. Clark was third at the end of lap one with Mark McAleer fourth as David Burke and Chris Dyer fought over fifth.
Jake McAleer found a way past Hayes on lap five, the leaders met by the safety car at the end of that lap with cars off at Agostini. Released for racing at the end of lap nine for a two-lap sprint, Jake McAleer claimed the perfect end to the season to make it eight wins, Hayes second from Clark and Mark McAleer, Dyer claiming fifth.
“We are now chasing the team championship, so I still wanted to push hard,” said Jake McAleer. “I’m hoping we have sealed that now, which is great for everyone. I didn’t expect to win both races at the start of the day.”
“They have the pace on me on the straights, but this car is great in the corners,” said Hayes. “The car is amazing, so capable of much more.”
The last race of the Porsche Club Motorsport AM Championship with Pirelli season was to decide the title with Gregory, Khan and Porter in contention, the latter still with a small points advantage. Gregory ended lap one leading the category, Chatham right there and Khan in third, Porter next up but under pressure from Jason Brown.
A lap later Gregory and Chatham were side-by-side down the pit straight, Chatham taking the lead into the first corner. Brown moved past Khan and into third as Porter slipped to fifth, but the safety car closed the order right up and meant it would be a dramatic last two laps with the title still up for grabs.
Chatham managed the restart well and duly went on to take another win, while Porter decided not to nurse his car any longer and was on a charge, passing Khan on lap ten and heading into the final lap with Brown in his sights. Gregory was secure in second but the next two were together at the final corner, Porter just heading Brown over the line to claim third only to be excluded after post-race checks, Gregory taking his second Porsche Club Motorsport title in two years.
“I was very careful after the safety car to keep us back from the Club class cars,” said Chatham. “Great to take the win and a nice way to end the season.”
“I knew everything was going to be so close in the points,” said Gregory before knowing he was champion. “I was watching the cars behind and thought I had it, then the safety car put everyone back together again. It’s been a good season, everyone has been so close all year.”

Porsche Club Motorsport Boxster Cup
Race One
Championship leader Max Watt was on pole for the opening Porsche Club Motorsport Boxster Cup race of the day with Scott Evans alongside, but both front row starters had too much wheelspin allowing Perry Darling to lead from the outside of the second row. Watt was ahead by the end of the opening lap, Bertie Bream, who had initially been blocked in by the slow getaway of the front row, second.
The lead pair pulled away, as Evans and Darling fought over third, before Evans had a spin and retired two laps later, Darling then coming under pressure from Matt Shears who claimed third for the middle part the race. At the front Bream was pushing hard and set a fastest race lap to date as he tried to close in on Watt, but the leader was able to stay out of reach.
Watt eased away again in the final laps to take his seventh win of the season and put himself in a great position to claim the title in race two, Bream second. Shears had a spin with two laps to go that saw Darling back into third, Shears still able to come home fourth.
“It wasn’t the greatest start again,” said Watt, “but then I looked across and Scot did exactly the same alongside me. I lost places but got them back right away, and then got my head down to keep pushing and the car seemed to get quicker – still have to do it in race two though.”
“I was trying to get in his head, but he was quick,” said Bream, “I got boxed in at the start and I had got away well but had nowhere to go. We had a radiator problem in qualifying, bug thanks to the team for getting it sorted and getting us back out.”
Race Two
A good finish for Watt would see him champion but he was making sure of it as a good start saw him take the lead, Evans second at the end of the opening lap from Stuart Warner and Charlie Dye. Bream had been fifth but was third by the end of lap two and working to get past Evans, making a move only to lose the place by going wide, then swiftly recovering to be second on lap four, Watt already with a handy lead.
Watt stayed clear the rest of the race to ensure the 2025 title, second for Bream more than enough to see him championship runner-up. Behind, Evans and Warner battled over the final podium slot, the pair close on the run to the line on the final lap, Evans just staying clear.
“I finally got a good start in the final race of the year!” said Watt. “I led through the first corner and got a ga but had to ease off a bit to cool the tyres down, great to take it with a win. It’s my first ever championship and it feels really great, it’s been a superb season!”
“Happy to come second considering the issues and problems we have had all year,” said Bream. “The team did well to keep the car on point for us all season. It was nice to keep on Max’s tail to keep him honest, and thanks again to the team and to my dad for funding it all!”
“When our car works it works really well,” said Evans. “I’m not sure I had the pace of the two quick youngsters out front, but really enjoyed today and hoping to come back next season.”
