I have spent most of my life helping people get more from cars — and particularly from Porsches — not by pushing harder, but by driving better.

I began racing in 1990 and have been coaching on road and track since 1994. For over 20 years, I worked with Porsche Cars Great Britain as a Driving Consultant, supporting drivers across a wide range of programmes. That experience has given me a deep understanding of how Porsche engineering, driver input and the road interact — and where drivers often lose confidence or fluency.

My background spans advanced road driving, high-performance coaching and motorsport. I am an Approved Driving Instructor (ADI) and hold a Level 4 BTEC in Coaching for Driver Development, but my approach is always calm, patient and tailored to the individual. Some drivers want confidence, others clarity or refinement; the day is shaped around what you need.

Alongside road coaching, I work with the motorsport side of Porsche Club GB through Veloce Driving, alongside my business partner Kat Impey, a highly accomplished racing driver and one of the UK’s leading race coaches. Drivers under our guidance have won three Club championships in the last two seasons alone, and that experience feeds directly into my road coaching — not in terms of speed, but control, feel, awareness and decision-making.

A road day with me focuses on seeing more, anticipating earlier, keeping the car balanced and interacting effectively with the road environment. I am based in Cheshire, happy to travel, and I take great pride in helping members enjoy their Porsches with greater confidence and ease.
