The Porsche Club GB Driver Training Programme is overseen by Rob Colbourn, who leads its development and delivery. His role extends beyond coaching to include the careful selection, support and alignment of the instructor team, ensuring that every member experience reflects the programme’s values.
 
Rob often describes himself as fortunate to work alongside a group of instructors with whom he would happily spend a day driving himself - a simple but telling benchmark. It reflects both the trust placed in the team and the emphasis on mutual respect and shared standards.
 
A Culture of Ongoing Learning
Every member of the instructor team sees themselves as a student as well as a teacher. Roads evolve, vehicles change and human behaviour remains endlessly complex. The programme embraces this reality, fostering a culture of reflection, discussion and continual improvement within the team itself. This collective mindset helps ensure that the programme remains alive - responsive rather than static - and closely aligned with the realities of modern driving.

The following locations are where each of the team members are based, but don’t let their locations stop you from enquiring with the individual you are keen to work with, they are all willing to travel and do so regularly to different parts of the country.
