Looking for a PSE. Anyone know of any second hand units or great places to get a new one?

Bought my 996 4S a month ago.

I love it.

However, it came with the Dansk and has the annoying "Dansk rattle" that I am getting bored with. Since joining the club I have had my Factory Spec come through and the car left the factory with PSE. I would quite like to take it back to spec and get one, sound is great, and it was made for the car.

Anyone know where I can get one from, used or good price new? Ken at 9e in Crawley has done some initial work on my car and I am keen for him to fit one (se them by the way, they are awesome, friendly, well priced and very knowledgeable on all things 911.

Appreciate any pointers, scouring all the usual online places so wanted to ask the club,

Thanks

Marty

Gert @ Carnewal.

Either for modified genuine silencers, (sports sound all the time) or valved system that they do, again genuine silencers.

Thank you all for your help.

I do not have the PSE button on the dash, must have been replaced when the Dansk was put on.

Want to move away from Dansk as the rattle is just annoying me now and I fear that if I moved to another Dansk, that sound might come back on a new system.

Like the Design Tek one (and the price), just not huge fan of the fob method, I am going to speak to Ken at 9e and see what he thinks.

Thanks all,

Marty

Look and sound good.

So far my personal research suggests that the PSE sounds the best, but is by far the most expensive so looking at other options is the right thing to do.

I'll second the Topgear system. Full stainless with a lifetime guarantee and good value. Very happy with mine.

Thanks all,

does the price include fitting?

I am looking at the £950 one with fob valves at the moment, does anyone have this one to comment on?

Thanks

I hear good things about the Milltek switchable exhaust which is I understamd compatible with an existing pse setup. Coincidentally I just had my PSE repaired and rewelded - so if you can find a used PSE out there, there are refurb options (within reason) you can perhaps explore.
