Porsche Club Trackday, Anglesey 19th May + Llandudno Prom

Hi Nick,

I'll be going to spectate and going to the prom on Sunday but not tracking. I'm familiar with Anglesey having spent lots of time around Red Wharf Bay but never been to the Anglesey Circuit. The weather forecast looks good too. I'll be in my white Cayman S. See you there.

Gary

Hi Guys,

Just want to say a massive congratulations for all the effort made to put on an amazing event on Sunday.

Unfortunately I could only make it for an hour, but even then I haven't seen that many together even for say a national event.

After spending the whole day watching at Anglesey on the Saturday it's definitely pushed us to attend the next Trac Mon session, so I'll have to keep an eye out as I'm sure it will be booked up again.

Both of us cant wait unit the next events, June 17th seems along way away tho :'(

Well Done to everyone involved with the weekend.

We had a fantastic time from start to finish.

Thanks

Tracy & Cliff

Excellent event once again, and with the right weather this year too! Many thanks to all involved in organising and hopefully there will be a few more Panameras next year - lots of interest in the car and hybrid tech on Sunday. Anybody know what the official car count was?

780 we heard from the man at the entrance but "over 600" later quoted. A lot, either way :)

683 was the figure according to Sue, our RO. 2 miles of Porsches double stacked, quite amazing.

Probably more if Sue was counting at the top entrance as there were lots of cars flooding in by the middle entrance when I arrived. Here is my dash cam footage of when I arrived you can get an idea of just how many cars there were and they just kept on coming

Sad that R18 event was the same day nr Kendal-however if the cars are parked 5 car widths apart next year ,they could stretch to Rhyl![:D]

Brilliant day Thanks to Sue and R6 nearly 700 cars lets try and make it 800 next year Broke down on way home but that's another story!!

Had two breakdowns this month with my 987.1 Boxster Ive got Porsche Club Insurance with Lockton and recovery Water pump sheared at beginning of month Ignition Coil failed on the way back from Porsches on the Prom !! Both times around Ellesmere in Shropshire 1st time didn't have the Phone number for recovery and had to come home for number Recovery vehicle picked me up from home and recovered car (Home in 2 hours) Second time Phone was flat!! Luckily restaurant was open at Ellesmere and manager had iPhone charger Recovered and home in 1 1/2 hours Recovery management company REALLY HELPFUL kept in touch with me both times Both times actual recovery company was great, Second time driver also confirmed that it sounded like the Ignition coil Stupid think is that some thing had been telling me to replace the coils Bought the Coils and plugs from Euro (190.00 inc VAT) with discount (See offers on line - often 35% sometimes 50%) Original manufacturer BERU Porsche club insurance around 350 a year NOT BAD Thanks to Porsche Owners Club GB - And Lockton Insurance and Porsche Insurance (Also got an agreed value of 13k on Vehicle again Porsche Owners Club and Chris) JUST MAKE SURE YOU HAVE THE RECOVERY PHONE NUMBER open 24/7 !!!

Angelsey although not out on track was great for us spectators and cheered on a couple of mates. Plenty of great viewing points lots of well mannered drivers great weather. Perfect. [:D]

Yes you can fit 4 men in a 991 GTS Cab our mode of transport to and from the track from St Martin's Hotel. :ROFLMAO:
