South coast Cayman Register Members informal get together?

Are there any Cayman Register Members on the south coast (West Sussex/Hampshire/Dorset) who might be interested in an informal get together at somewhere like Goodwood where the aero club is good for coffee/breakfast? Being of a certain age I'm free to meet on weekdays or weekends :)
Either PM me or post here if you are interested.

Most definitely interested Andrew....I'm near Poole, so struggle to make the Chapter meetings further South. I'm tagging up with the Cayman OC crew for the Just Porsche event at Beulieu early June. Am weekends only limited (being of an age where I'm not quite free of the employment shackles)

Hi Andrew.

Just an idea why not run it past your RS he can reach a wider audience to get your meet well attended.

Just a thought good luck.

Regards Cliff.

Glad to hear that your interested Craig. My thoughts were to just have a tyre kicking meet, similar to the Cayman Owners Club at the Super Sausage Cafe near Towcester, but at a location more convenient for those of us in the south coast area.

I'll be going to Simply Porsche, current intention is to join the Dorset region at Picket Post.

Hi Cliff, thanks, I've already spoken to Buddy the Cayman RS with regard to sending a MailChimp email which may be done.

Andrew.

Hi Frank,

I’m pleased to hear that you’re interested in attending a Cayman meet. I’ll keep you posted.

Andrew.

Frank and Craig,

Thank you for your interest in a south coast Cayman Register members meeting. I've had one other person (Tony) express an interest in a meeting.

Would you mind PM'ing your email addresses to me so that I can contact you with some suggestions. I think the best way forward would be to agree a date and location that suits at least three of us, I could then get Buddy (Kevan) to send a MailChimp email to all Cayman Register members and I'd also post the details on this forum which hopefully will result in a few more people attending.

Thanks, Andrew.

Mike
I'm pleased to hear that Mike.

Would you be prepared to travel any further? There's a cafe near Alton called "The Departure Lounge" which hosts car meets, they've told me they could arrange dedicated parking for us if we went there.

Andrew.

Goodwood would be good (no pun intended) for me. Alton not quite so handy, but I'd certainly consider it.

Alan

Just to let you all know that I am fully in support of having regional factions of the Cayman Register, one disadvantage of being national is that it is rare and difficult for all to have a national get together, we now have around 1000 members and are spread more densely in some areas than others, regional meets don't appeal to all or are inconvenient to attend so if anyone in any are of the UK wishes to organise a local get together I will send out a circulation through mail chimp whenever they have their arrangements set.

I've had a look at the Goodwood Motor Circuit diary and there is nothing listed on 1st July (and no breakfast club either due to the imminent Festival of Speed) so we could meet then, at the Aero Club Cafe which is currently operating from the Old Control Tower (located on the left just inside the circuit entrance).

I'd suggest meeting there between 09:00 - 10:00. If you think that you can make it please let me know by posting here or sending me a PM. If more than a handful of people want to attend I'd need to phone the Aero Club first.
