Morning folks

anyone from R18 going to gawsworth on bank holiday monday coming? It's always a good show with a healthy turnout of porsche's and it might not actually snow for once looking at the weather forecast. I know in years gone by we have met up at charnock richard services and gone down in convoy.

Anyone in??

Gerald wants to go in a convoy with me but I haven't got my pass out signed in triplicate yet...

Liz is most insistent that we "go and do something nice together" over the weekend but I think she meant something that did not involve car shows... I will keep you posted.

I'm going with Nick to Donington Historic on the Saturday for the 1st time so can't get a pass out for Monday as well-pity[&o]

Rob how about an educational tour of a stately home such as Gawsworth Hall and a walk round the gardens for Liz?

You can of course go the scenic A and B road route and avoid the potential heavy traffic on the M6

Ha! Liz confuses ”go and do something nice together” with a military grade hike up a mountain... although, to be fair, I need the exercise!

Is there any particular time we have to be there for David as I can’t find any details ?

R5 are asking people to be there by 09.30am but that seems to be because it gets very busy once it opens to the public at 10.30am.

The venue itself seems to be quite flexible.

yes pete, good turn out with 99 cars on the stand. I follewed Hassan in in his 'new' 1924 Bentley, the effects of the exhaust fumes have just about cleared up [&:]:ROFLMAO:

and the M6 was a breeze.......[;)]
