Exhaust Deposit's

Is it just me or does the 997 & maybe other 911 models chuck out a load of carbon deposits out of the exhaust pipes. My Cayman's pipes used to get dirty but only required cleaning about once a week however on the 997 I can be cleaning them daily and as it's a white car it also leaves deposit's on the rear bumper. Maybe I'm a tad OCD but I do like the pipes to look shiny and the bumper not to be covered in tiny black dots !!

If not could the car be running a bit rich ?

i am tempted to get my tips rechromed in black chrome to eliminate the contrast :)

Not sure I noticed much on my Meteor Grey 4s might just be the issue with white showing everything

re the black chroming has anyone done this on Turbo tail pieces?

All the Gen 2 engined cars have black exhausts and chuck black spots out of the back. Nothing to worry about, completely normal.
