The leading edges of the sills on my 987 keep chipping badly so thought I would try something more permanent than stone chip/paint.
Bought a small sheet of white ABS, 1mm thick for £1.99 and found some gorilla double sided tape which is about 2mm thick so will comply to the contours of the sill.
Card template, quick snip with scissors and de-grease the ABS and the sill with Panel wipe.
Fix the ABS on carefully as this tape gives no second chance!
It will be interesting to see how they fair against the grit-blasting they get on cr@@py UK roads as time goes by.
