OK there's two ways -
One is to lock the car with the key in the door lock and holding it in the 'lock' position.
The second - and far easier way - is to press and hold the 'lock / unlock' button on the key itself holding the 'lock / unlock' button down until the windows and / or the sunroof have fully closed. Much the same as you press and hold the secondary button to unlock the bonnet

some of the guys with more experience with cab may know of this issue?
Also as a side note, the one touch window open/close function isn't working on either window....anyone know how to fix this also? :-/

One - If the 'one shot' feature works fine, it could mean that the closure function has been turned 'off' by a dealer somewhere in the cars past, or
Two - If your car has Sports Chrono it might be that the previous owner turned it off as I think it can be customised in one of the sub-menus.

My car does have the Sports Chrono option, so i'll have a little look in the software to see if i can find anything relating to window closure. Would be great to get the "one touch" window switching working too if possible...i've heard they can be a bit hit and miss to fix??

If your one-touch window operation isn't functioning, try resetting the stops. Close the door and turn on the ignition. Press the window button down until the window goes all the way down, then release and press it down one more time. Then pull the button up until the window is all the way up, then release and pull it up one more time. Hopefully that should do it.

If that doesn't work, maybe the window module is faulty and you'll have to run some diagnostics to see if there are any error messages. A decent Indie should be able to help and also check the menu set-up for you.

But if I lift the passenger window but by bit until half way up, it will then do a ‘one-touch’ for the rest of the way.
Drivers sude is ‘one-touch’ up and down.
