Lanchester to Headlam Hall Run - Sunday May 6th

Hi all,

Been looking to do this run for a while in the porker. We've done a recce run in the Twingo RS and its a cracking route. Loads of twisties, fast corners and straights; Porsche Nirvana :). So the plan is, meet at Lanchester garden centre at around 10.00 am and grab a coffee (there is plenty of car parking. If you get there for 10 you'll have the pick of the places). Set off around 11.00 and head down to Headlam Hall for a coffee and a bite to eat. Takes around 1hr 25mins to get there but the drive is epic. The guy who owns Headlam Hall is a Porsche R3 Club member and drives a 911 S I believe. Headlam Hall is a lovely place and has a superb Cafe/Bistro and the food is very nice. After some food and drinks, turn around and do it all again (if you want).

I have attached a PDF of the route for you to print out. We'll be going regardless but it you want to come along just add your name to this post.

That day, my friend is the day after we fly out to France for shenanigans the following weekend. [:)]

Might try it another day though.

Sounds like a great run Mark, but we too will be winging our way to South of France for the Monaco Historic....[8D] We could do it again though !

Sounds great Mark but we will be coming back from Corfu that day. I’ll print out the route though & have a crack at it when we have time. See you Sunday though.
