Buying Keeping Security Porsche 912

Hello,
Trying to find a running fair condition Porsche 912. Any advice on whether owners keep their cars on the street. I live in North London N8, which you couldn’t describe as a low crime area!
but not bad. Have kept my much less valuable BMW convertible on the same street with no problems for years.
Thank you.

Hi,

I'm in Islington and I rent a space in a private car park nearby. I just wouldn't risk leaving my Porsche on the street, to be honest. I have a Skoda VRS as a daily driver and that was keyed last year. Saying that, there are a couple of nice 997's parked around the corner and they seem to have escaped any vandalism. Personally, I just don't want to take the risk though.

There's also the question of insurance. I pay a terrifyingly large amount for my car and that's in a secure underground car park. God knows how much the premium would be if it was parked on the street.

HI
Just seen you post, do not keep it on the street, I had my car out of the garage for 4 hours and it was gone, car theft is on the up, add a tracker and an alarm and keep it secure. all the best

Thank you.
I would be interested in how you keep your car secure. If you are ok with this message me at porscheblue22@gmail.com
