Hi Guys

I have a 993 Targa for weekends and now looking at the possibility of changing my daily driver to a Cayenne Turbo.
Have found a nice 53 plate with 96K that looks stunning just wondering what sort of things I need to look for/known issues please

Thanks

Graham

Pay extra and get a newer one.
Be ready for fuel consumption of 12 to 14 mpg.
Engine very smooth no lumps strange noises and Def no clattering
No lumpy gear changes.
All electrics works (especially a/c check all modes as 16'ish syncro's) very expensive to repair wiring is rotting out in early poorly looked after cars
Water sloshing noises front bulkhead and sills
Rust underneath
Brakes and discs
Turbos . Turbo lag boosting properly use boost guage to measure

Thanks for that Gordon
It is a 2003 on a 53 Plate now I know the reg and full OPC History too.
The Cayenne Turbo model does not suffer from the bore wear issues that the standard Cayenne S engine does due to using a different liner/coating material used, is this correct?

I now have a 2006 1 Owner Turbo S with 100K and full Porsche Service history
