Washer bottle

Hi folks , wondering if anyone can help ?? I’ve got a gen 2 996 Carrera c2 my2003 . I’ve just gone to fill up my washer bottle for the front windscreen and as I fill it up there is water coming out from under the car ?? I’m guessing it’s a split pipe or bottle , possibly as a result of the recent cold weather !!! Has anyone had a similar problem? Any ideas on a cure or if it’s an expensive job , any help grateful regards gary.

Water bottle and pump on ebay for £50; I seem to recall you can get to it by removing the inner wheel liner. I would suggest locating where the split is before ordering anything. I would expect if it is the hose that has split it may be a cheap fix. Always worth checking you have a strong enough concentration to stop it freezing as I think the standard Porsche fill is more of a cleaning fluid without something to stop if freezing.

If you do need parts rather than it being the best case of a disconnected hose, always worth speaking to your local OPC as in my experience I have been better getting some parts from them rather than other suppliers.

Regards
Graeme

Many thanks , my car is due an mot at the beginning of April so I think I’ll leave it up to Porsche Portsmouth to sort while it’s in with them ??
