New to 928

I've just collected my first 928, a 1982 S Auto, and driven it back from Chesterfield to Huddersfield.

I can't describe how good a drive that was despite the slow change on the auto box which I understand is the norm.

Whilst gold is not my favourite colour for a car, the pasha interior is as retro as it gets - I love it!

There a few odd jobs to have attended to but the cam belt was only changed 2,000 miles/2 years ago so that's one of the more important ones covered for a while I'm relieved to say. I've already ordered new struts for both the bonnet and the rear hatch as the existing ones are tired, or in the case of one of the hatch struts, missing altogether. The door mirrors don't work at the moment and neither does the cruise control or the air con. I'm not so concerned about the latter two but working door mirrors will probably prove useful as my wife will also be driving the car.

I'm really looking forward to getting more miles in the car under my belt.
