I be picking our blue girl up tommorow after a shed load of work,,,,
also i edit this post tommorow when i get the bill as there will be stuff i will forget,,,,
Work included new water pump,,rollers,,tensioners,,belts,,,,new dizzy cap,,,new power steering belt,,,, new fan belt,,new alternator belt [money knocked off bill as fan and alternator belt were changed last summer in Kent],,,,,new front fog light and protectors,,, new fluids,,,lots of labour,,,,Mot ,,,which it flew through [slight play on one of the front ball joints the only advisory so a new part in the summer will be fitted],,
i am pretty sure i have missed other bits so i will amend,,,,,,
Happy and piece of mind that all these jobs are done for the next four years,,,,
I believe it was £750 just for parts,,,,good water pumps and front fogs are not cheap and a dizzy cap for around £50,,,,,,,jasonp

Apart from Anti freeze coolant and some little silly jobs i could have did i think i covered it,,,,,

All good for the history of the car and spends as well as receipts and service book stamped to keep in this thread and for my memory lol,,,,,,,

it would seem the last owner had the belts changed but not the idlers, rollers,or tensioners as stated in service book,,,

My chaps were certain of this,,,,,

Naughty,,naughty garage,,,,,,,,,,,,,,jasonp

I know how you feel, I’m just just doing fan switch, exhaust mount, track arm, engine mounts and the dreaded clutch change! Oh and front discs and pads. The weather is not the only thing in the minus range at the momen!
