Wonder if the next step is to produce an attractive Cayenne - but IMHO that's an impossibility!

93 968 tip cabriolet, tahoe blue, cobalt blue leather interior, Promax 7100 chip, 80k miles
94 968 Coupe tip, Guards Red, Porsche grey cloth / leatherette interior, owned Nov 98 - July 2011
Completely original - no modifications from "as ordered".

You may well laugh, but it means I'll have to go back to a Beemer X5 for caravan towing next time I change cars.
    Boxster won't tow it.

Dog's not happy about going back to slumming it, either.

As a Devon resident I would be happier reading about the death of the caravan.....

I'm speeding because I have to get there before I forget where I'm going.

Oh how humbled I am by the new forum moderator
Many apologies, OP, for my flippancy.
However, back on topic, I'm not sure how it's a bad outcome for current owners?  Collector's items for the future, maybe?

I'm speeding because I have to get there before I forget where I'm going.

Alan, I am so pleased by your humorous oratory🤔-I presume Porsche have now got to ramp up petrol engine production to fill the gap -not everyone is going to want a hybrid or a future pure electric vehicle

Probably true, Colin, and we need to make the most of it because the day will come when we don't have a choice.
