I have a seized [open] Caliper [nearside rear] that needs sorting, so do I refurbish all four, or get an after market replacement/upgrade set..?

Not looking to Big Red the System, but could do with some reasonably priced suggestions, Brembo / Porsche etc..?

Full refurb will be about £1K. There are no aftermarket options really, Brembo wont supply so if want new its OPC and over £3K

It does sound like the plates that Maurice suggests. It's not rocket science to do yourself. The lift plates will shine up nicely with a wire brush, no need for new ones as the corrosion is between the back of the plate and the caliper. Not really corrosion but electrolytic reaction between dissimilar metals. The seals will cost you about £80 and £10 for 20 or so hex screws that hold the plates and if you're lucky the pistons will be fine but OPC will sort you any new ones if needed. The only tools would be a small compressor, a dot punch and hex tool.
