Adding a usb connection to a 2006 Cayenne

We've happily run a '55 Cayenne Turbo for about 6 years now, but after getting a Cayman with PCM 3 and the universal audio I really like the convenience of all my music on a usb drive.
Having update the PCM maps I don't want to change that unit but would like to add a usb connection/interface. Has anybody done this? Or any bright ideas?

Thanks

Tony

Hi

Recently added a pure Highway to our 09 Cayenne S, in addition to DAB this has a USB port for either flash drive (it didn't get on with a 64Gb but worked well with a 32Gb) or connecting iPod/Phone or android devices. It injects in to the radio antenna so no need to search around for a free FM station. The interface sticks on the dash not too intrusive and the black box is behind the carpet in the driver foot well with USB extension lead attached to the grab handle by the gear selector.
Works a treat, but its only the older version (not the 200/400/600) that has the USB port. These are still available new on ebay https://www.ebay.co.uk/it...OSw~rpZT4CL (also sold as an Alpine Easy DAB). Cost a couple of hundred to fit as the original PCM has to come out to access the antenna input.
