993 Interior Lights not working

The interior lights on my 1996 - 993 Cab do not work, also the lights in the luggage and engine compartment and glove box will not come on. This could be due to the interior light dropping out of its socket while driving and was left dangling by the wires which could have shorted and blown the fuse. Can anybody please inform me where the fuse is located and which # it is, also are there any other causes for these lights not working,

Paul

Definitely sound like the fuse has blown
Don't have a manual to hand but the underside of the fuse box lid has the list

Good luck

Thanks for your advice.
I’ve just changed the fuse #11 and all the lights are working now.

Cheers

Just a quick addendum... if the fuse for the interior lights goes, it can cause your battery to drain a lot faster as the electric window solenoids stay charged, as it thinks the door is still open. Not sure why but I cured a drain (flat battery within 3 days) by swapping the dud fuse for a fresh one.

my battery went flat a couple of years ago with lights on interior
the bonnet catch light switch wasnt working
so i put in a whole set of led`s best thing ive ever done interior
so much brighter with white light n outside sides, brakes, indicators

I have changed all my external lights to LED and used the HID Conversion kit for the Headlights. Amazing stuff from Bergvill
I have also done all interior lights, inc Boot, Bonnett too (Crazyleds) Done the Dials too, and still working on the Fog Buttons
I only have 1 Interior Light in the car as a Targa but just 1 bullet changed to LED lights the whole car like a football stadium
